Here you'll find a collection of commissioned mixed media shadow boxes that "Stages.”  I call them Stages because, like a stage in a theater, they’re a place where stories are told in a finite space. Each element on the stage is meant to propel a story forward. My greatest compliment is when someone tells me they visit one of my stages they see something new. I take a lot of time and energy to create these details, but when I hear that comment like that it makes it all worth it. The stages that I enjoy making most are biographical stages that tap into the essence of someone held dear.
